We have seen this occasionally with students where they need to change a setting in Zoom on their Chromebook to automatically adjust the volume. Below are screenshots on how to do that.
1. Open Zoom and Click on the gear in the top right-hand side of the Zoom window.
2. Click on the Audio tab at the top right then select Automatically adjust microphone volume.
